Intitulé du poste : Post-doc
Ville : Paris
Laboratoire/Institut : Institut Pasteur
Contexte :

A fully funded postdoc position is immediately available in the team of Ludovic Sauguet at the Pasteur Institute in Paris. Our goal is to study the structure and function of the archaeal replication machinery, which includes a new class of DNA polymerase that has been extensively studied in the lab. We use an integrative structural biology approach, primarily through Cryo-EM single particle analysis.

The laboratory is situated in  the main Pasteur Institute campus in Paris, which has access to an outstanding range of facilities and equipment, including a state-of-the-art Titan Krios and two Glacios electron microscopes equipped with Falcon 4i direct detectors and Selectris energy filters. Training in sample preparation and microscope operation will be provided if necessary.

The position is secured for two years, and support will be provided to find funding to further extend the contract. The project is funded by an ANR grant (National Research Agency) and will be carried out in close collaboration with the group of Dr. Ghislaine Henneke, at the “Laboratoire de Microbiologie des Environnements Extrêmes (LMEE)”, Ifremer, Brest, France.

Projet Scientifique :

Integrated structural study of the archaeal replisome
