Projet Scientifique :	The contract funded by the “Maison de la Chimie” Foundation will be a continuation of the ANR SCHIZOLIP project, which focuses on the role of the membrane lipid environment on the heteromerization of the dopamine D2 G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) with other GPCRs. The project will involve the production, purification, and characterization of the receptors of interest, in the presence or absence of their effectors (G protein, β-arrestin). The objective is to determine the structure of protein complexes formed in the presence of different surrounding lipids using cryogenic electron microscopy (cryoEM). To achieve this, various molecules can be used to "extract" the receptors from the membranes: copolymers, detergents, etc.
