L'Association Européenne de Cristallographie (ECA) organise depuis 2021 des "webinaires déjeuner". Les groupes d'intérêt spéciaux (SIG) et les groupes d'intérêt général (GIG) de l'ECA organisent à tour de rôle un webinaire adapté à la communauté des cristallographes au sens large. High-pressure crystallography provides an opportunity to explore how the physics and chemistry of crystals changes as the distances between atoms are reduced. But conclusions about the physics and chemistry are only valid if the high-pressure experiments are performed properly. I will review the basic methods of high-pressure crystallography, introduce the common errors that are made and how to detect them.
