We are excited to welcome you in Marseille for the 3rd edition of the Integrative Structural Biology Meeting (BSI), co-organized with the Association Française de Cristallographie (AFC) and the Société Française de Biophysique (SFB). Our local committee involves 13 laboratories and Institutes of Aix-Marseille Université and is working hard to propose exceptional scientific sessions to cover a wide range of scientific research in the fields of Biophysics, Structural Biology, and Cell Biology.
Finally, we will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Société Française de Biophysique (SFB), and the Reciprocs-Bio network will organize a half-day satellite meeting available to all participants.
We are committed to achieving gender equality, inclusiveness, and diversity in our endeavors, and we strongly encourage participation of graduate students and young scientists.
We are in the midst of a historic and profound technical transformation of structural and cellular biology. The development of techniques based on super-resolution optical microscopy and cryo-electron microscopy break down resolution barriers for understanding the architecture of proteins, organelles, cells and tissues, with the potential for a holistic understanding of biological processes with multi-scale structural approaches. As a result, communities of structural biologists, biophysicists, biochemists, and cell biologists are more interconnected than ever. Sharing our expertise and innovations will allow us to see biology in all its dimensions and better understand its diverse mechanisms.
Registration and abstract submission will open on June 15.
