7th French-German Workshop on Oxide, Dielectric, and Laser Crystals

13-14 septembre 2018,  Idar-Oberstein (Allemagne)

The present workshop is a continuation of the DGKK meetings on „Crystals for lasers and NLO" and previous workshops organized a FEE (2011, 2014), ISL (2012, 2015), IKZ (2016) and ICMCB (2017). The workshop – as part of the DGKK-Arbeitskreis Kristalle für Laser und Nichlineare Optik – brings together universities, institutes and industry to explore and discuss single crystal growth of inorganic materials, characterization methods and application, e.g. in the field of optics and piezoelectricity.
We encourage you to present your last results in an oral presentation (15 - 25 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions). Therefore, please send also the title and the list of authors in the commitment email. A one-page abstract for the abstract book is needed four weeks before the workshop. Ample time will be made available for discussions – especially during the "Spießbraten" dinner offered in the evening at the grill cabin of FEE on the shore of the Nahe
river.

Program:
Start: Thursday, 13.09 2018, 14:00; Dinner at FEE in the evening.
End: Friday , 14.09.2018, 13:00; with possibility to visit FEE.
