The AFC is a learned society that federates the French scientists using crystals and crystallography for their research or methodological developments in many domains: physics, chemistry, biology, earth and environmental sciences, arts and heritage. It is mainly involved with the exchange of knowledge and interactions between the francophone crystallographers of all disciplines through the organization of thematic or interdisciplinar congresses, schools and workshops.
