Pourquoi le diamant a-t-il naturellement des facettes ? Qu'est ce qu'un cristal ? Peut-on faire des objets facettés avec des liquides ? Derrière ces questions simples, se cachent de nombreuses notions mathématiques et physiques, à la fois anciennes et récentes. Abordée sous un angle ludique et illustré, cette conférence s'adresse à un large public.
